Brass Shoe Eyelet with Star Washer
A two-part eyelet and washer concept for shoe uppers where the hole size, upper thickness and setting method must work together.
Specify the eyelet for the exact upper stack, reinforcement and lacing load. A washer can spread load behind the upper, but its fit and setting geometry must be checked on the production material.

BEFORE SAMPLE APPROVAL
What to confirm
Define the component against the actual shoe construction so the sample answers the right engineering questions.
- Measure the punched hole, upper thickness and installed lace diameter.
- Define the eyelet barrel length for the complete material stack, including reinforcement.
- Choose a finish sample and corrosion test method suitable for the market and use.
- Approve the setting result on the actual upper material before bulk production.
BUYER QUESTIONS
Brass Shoe Eyelet with Star Washer FAQ
Why is the upper thickness needed?
The barrel must roll or clinch through the full material stack. An eyelet chosen only by face diameter can set poorly.
Does a washer replace upper reinforcement?
No. Washer and reinforcement design should be assessed together on the shoe upper.
What should I send for a quote?
Send the eyelet drawing or sample, hole diameter, upper stack thickness, finish reference, quantity and setting method.
